Yes. It is a full remake of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC — the 2006 game — and it is sold as its own product, not as a re-release of it.

The publisher’s own announcement describes it as delivering “a full remake of the fan-favorite The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC”, and describes the result as a modern reimagining with updated visuals, reorchestrated music, quality-of-life improvements, and full English and Japanese voice acting. Reference material likewise records it as a remake that released for Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and Windows in September 2026. The Steam store page carries a Remake tag.
