Not published. As of 18 September 2026 — the date this was last checked — no full soundtrack album for Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter has been released or announced:

No album, no soundtrack add-on and no streaming release is announced on any of the official channels this guide works from: the game’s product pages, the publisher’s release announcements, and the publisher’s own financial filings.
The publisher’s quarterly financial filing dated 12 August 2026 lists the music albums it had released by then, and there is no soundtrack for this game among them.
The official product section for this game lists game editions only.
Reference music databases and retailers checked for this guide carry the 2006 original’s soundtrack, not this release’s.

WHAT IS CONFIRMED

The music is reorchestrated for this release, not carried over unchanged. The publisher’s feature list for the game describes a reorchestrated soundtrack, alongside updated visuals, quality-of-life improvements and full English and Japanese voice acting.
One official music release exists, and it ships inside a collector’s edition. A Mini Soundtrack CD is one of the items the publisher lists for the Golden Wings Edition, together with the model diorama, the SteelBook, the artbook, the collector’s box and the Season Pass code.
That edition’s own sales window has closed. The Golden Wings Edition ran on pre-order only until 8 March 2026, so the Mini Soundtrack CD is not something you can still order new from the publisher.
The music plays in the game itself. Nothing extra has to be bought to hear the score, and buying something extra gets you no additional tracks today.
It is the element reviewers single out most. The Switch 2 review we read places the soundtrack first among the game’s strengths.

WHAT IS NOT PUBLISHED

The track listing: Not published. No official track list exists for this release — not for a standalone album, and not for the Mini Soundtrack CD. That means no confirmed track count, no confirmed track titles and no confirmed running order, so we print none rather than reconstruct one.

HOW TO LISTEN LAWFULLY

Buy the game. The score is part of the product. Steam, the PlayStation Store and the Nintendo store are the legitimate channels for the version you own; /platforms/ sets out what each version includes.
Look for a Golden Wings Edition copy at retail or second-hand. The Mini Soundtrack CD shipped only inside that edition and the publisher’s pre-order window has closed. What each edition contains is set out on /golden-wings-edition/.
Check bundled-soundtrack claims before you buy. What ships with a copy depends on the edition and the storefront, and the run of the physical edition was capped.
